ASTM Thermometer in Celcius Degree
These AllaFrance Thermometers are manufactured according to the latest specifications of ASTM / the American Society for Testing and Material, Standard E2251 -14 (Standard Specifications for Liquid-in-Glass ASTM Thermometers with Low-Hazard Precison Liquids).
The colour of the glass of these thermometers is standardized in yellow, giving a much better reading than the white back with non-toxic Blue Special liquid.

IP Thermometer
I.P. (INSTITUTE OF PETROLEUM) is a British Standard.
These AllaFrance Thermometers possess the same characteristics as I.P. Thermometers, except for the filling liquid, which is a non-toxic Special Blue Liquid, and the length in some cases. - Thermometers
Precision Thermometer
These AllaFrance thermometers are manufactured using a yellow sodo-line glass stem, filled with Red Liquid (mercury free), with a diameter of about 6-7 mm. The colour of the glass makes for easier reading of the liquid column. Clear, sharp graduation lines are printed and permanently fused to the glass surface.
They feature a special ring/hook that can be clipped on the glass, patented by Alla France.
